Welcome To Two Horizons Press
About Our Company
Two Horizons Press is an international publishing company focused on providing quality educational literature to groups traditionally neglected by other publishers. Our mission is to provide disadvantaged groups with books that are practical, informative, empowering, and sensitive to the specific needs of the communities they address.
Two Horizons Press books are printed on long-lasting acid-free paper. When it is available, we choose paper that has been manufactured by environmentally responsible practices. These may include using trees grown in sustainable forests, incorporating recycled paper, minimizing chlorine in bleaching, or recycling the energy produced at the paper mill. Two Horizons Press is also a member of the
Tree Neutral™ initiative, which works to offset paper consumption through tree planting.
What We Publish
Two Horizons Press publishes children’s literature, handbooks for parents and educators, and reprints of classic works in history, philosophy and educational pedagogy. Two Horizons Press does not typically accept unsolicited book proposals. We select our titles carefully, based on identifying areas of deficit in the literature currently available on the market, compared against existing need. In the case of reprints, we only republish works of great literary and historic value, particularly those written by famous authors, but ignored for political reasons.
Some examples of what we publish include:
Educational: Real Life is No Fairy Tale by Sujan Dass
Hip Hop Aesop by Demarkus Taylor
Historical: Black Rebellion edited by Sujan Dass
Darkwater by W.E.B. Du Bois
Philosophical: From Poverty to Power by James Allen
